Road trips and family days out
Lists for trips where the car, the day bag and the children set what you need to bring.
How to choose
The road trip list is about the journey itself. It covers what goes in the car for the hours of driving, the documents for hire cars and borders, the checks before leaving and the comfort items for passengers, with options for children, pets and winter driving.
The theme park list is about the days at the destination. It builds a day bag from the weather and the rides, counts spare clothes from the number of children and park days, and adds a section for buggies and toddlers.
If you drive to a park, use both: the road trip list for the car and documents, the theme park list for the day bag. The two do not repeat each other, so the items you need to remember for the drive and for the park days sit in separate lists.
