Tips for this list
- Arrive at opening and do the big rides first; queues usually build through the morning, and small children tire early in the afternoon.
- Agree a meeting point and write your number on each child's wrist before you enter.
- Pack one dry outfit for each child in the car or a locker, so a soaked child is not a day-ender.
- Check height rules on each ride's page before you promise anything to a child.
Questions
What should I put in the day bag for a theme park?
Water bottles, snacks, sun cream or ponchos, wipes, a spare top for each child and a power bank. The list builds the day bag from the weather and the water rides.
Can I bring food and drink into a park?
Rules differ between parks: many allow sealed snacks and reusable bottles but not glass or large coolers. Read the park's official guide before you pack.
How many spare clothes should I bring?
One spare top for each child per park day, up to three, plus a full change in the car or a locker. Water rides add swimwear and a towel.
